Her first match was against Aimee Deaves (NSW) – Aimee prevailed 141-140 Team: the Women Compound Team comprised Bec, Ella Hugo and Aimee Deaves. The team qualified 9th and was up against 8th ranked Russia, which had amongst its members #1 ranked archer, Albina Loginova. Australia won! (227-223) The next stage was a match against the top ranked USA team. USA stopped the Aussies with a strong performance 231-216. (The AUS men’s compound team (ranked #4) battles it out for Bronze on Saturday, 18 May against KOR, ranked #2. AUS beat India, but then went down to the USA in the semis by just 1 point)
