Development Programs

Members who want to develop their skills have a number of options available to them. For those new to archery, most clubs run beginner programs, see Want to Get into Archery?

For those who are no longer beginners and want to further develop their skills, there are two programs available.

The ARCHERY SA Development Program (ARCSADP) is aimed at a broad range of ability levels and and provides an opportunity for both coaches and archers to improve their skills. The ARCSADP corresponds to steps 7 and 8 in the ARCHERYSA 10 Step Development Pathway.

The Archery Australia Regional Development Program (AARDP) is aimed at higher skill levels and provides a stepping stone to Archery Australia’s High Performance Program (HPP). The AARDP is distinct from the ARCSADP, but the two programs are complementary, and are run concurrently. Acceptance into the AARDP is subject to meeting performance levels and meeting training requirements stipulated by Archery Australia. The AARDP corresponds to step 9 in the ARCHERYSA 10-Step Development Pathway.
