The SASI Country Athlete Award Scheme (CAAS) offers financial assistance of approx $800 to talented junior athletes (13-18 yrs), who are performing at a high (state/national) level in Olympic, … The SASI Country Athlete Award Scheme (CAAS) offers financial assistance of approx $800 to talented junior athletes (13-18 yrs), who are performing at a high (state/national) level in Olympic, Paralympic and Commonwealth Games sports and events, from rural areas to offset expenses that may be incurred in: – the implementation of a training and competition program – travel and accommodation not met by the Club, State or National Sporting Organisation – the purchase and maintenance of training and competition equipment. Athletes must be from country areas (permanently reside 130km from the Adelaide GPO). Eligibility details are listed on the application form.
