Archery Level 1 Coach Course – 23 June

This course is for affiliated members that wish to instruct beginners and assist their Club in running courses and Come’n’Try events. If you have been a member for 12 months or more, at least 16 years of age and have a general knowledge of archery; please register.

As part of attending the course, you will be required to complete a work book and hand it up, and then undertake additional instructing duties and assessment at your Club.

To be formally accredited as an Archery Level 1 Coach you will also need to complete the General Principles of Coaching. These can be completed before or after this course and can be completed online (free of charge). The online course is available at the SportAUS website.

Any current Level 1 Coach is required to formally re-accredit (or upgrade to Level 2) as part of transitioning to the new Archery Australia Coaching Program.

Any person wishing to undertake the course also will have to provide evidence of a Working With Children Clearance.

Reimbursement*: Support by way of travel expenses assistance may be available from ARCHERY SA for country members (travelling one way, 100 km or more) who complete the course and qualify. All claims must be accompanied by relevant receipts and be delivered to ARCHERY SA within 21 days after the course date. Use the ARCHERY SA expenses claim form.)

RE-ACCREDITATION

Coaches re-accrediting need only pay the AA fee component – contact the Coaching Administrator (use “Contact Us”, above) for the “Redeem Code”.
