What the heck is Intercalary you may ask?….. well, we are here to assist!

According to Radiopaedia:

  • Intercalary bones are common discal ossifications that are usually triangular in morphology, found in the anterior annular fibers of an intervertebral disc, and are thought to be degenerative in etiology.

…. which might explain why the event is for longbow and one-piece wooden barebow! 🙂

Mind you, it can also mean….“(of a day or a month) inserted in the calendar to harmonize it with the solar year, e.g. 29 February in leap years.”
