2018 Archery Australia National & ARCHERY SA State Indoor Archery Championships

Venue(s) – Ingle Farm (Sun) & Port Elliot (Sat & Sun) 21 & 22 July Entries open 8.01 am, 16 June and close 8.00 am, 8 July Ingle Farm* Port Elliot** *Morning session: 2 x Australian Indoor 1 Rounds (18m) *Afternoon session: WA Indoor 18m Round **Port Elliot – Australian Indoor Rounds on Saturday and WA Indoor Rounds on Sunday Assisted Crossbow has been included for the first time. From 1 January, 2018 the following Classes have also been included: Para Recurve Open (Individual) – Men & Women Para Compound Open (Individual) – Men & Women Para W1 Open (Recurve/Compound) – Men & Women The following are classified by IBSA Classifiers: VI 1 (Visually Impaired) VI 2/VI 3 Combined (Visually Impaired) Visually Impaired is a mixed gender (Male and Female) and mixed equipment (Recurve and Compound) event. Para and VI divisions are Open class only. All Para and VI archers competing must also be able to provide a copy of their current classification document at Equipment Inspection. (There is also the option to enter the event to be held at Hamilton, Victoria, which this year, is being held instead of the Mount Gambier event. Hamilton, Victoria SA State Indoor Teams: Recurve – Chris De Mello, Matt Holland, Shane Reeves, Ian Dall Compound – Paul Bagnell, Pat Coghlan, Andrew Kuchel, Graham Potts Target/Flight Allocations – Ingle Farm, as at 19/07/2018 – Port Elliot, as at 20/07/2018 RESULTS – follow the event at The Archer’s Diary Please note:                             ARCHERY South Australia Indoor Teams Selection Policy ARCHERY SA will conduct a formal selection process for the RGB Recurve Indoor Team and Compound Indoor Team for the National Indoor Archery Championships Team Events. (“Recurve” includes Recurve Barebow and Longbow; “Compound” includes Compound Barebow’) Each team comprises up to 4 archers – of any age or gender (refer Archery Australia Rule 3.2.6). Archers wishing to qualify for the team will need to satisfy the following criteria to be eligible for selection. QUALIFYING PERIOD From the 1st day of the month (four months before the event) until 31 May. APPLICABLE ROUND World Archery 18m Indoor Round (60 arrows: Inner-10 scoring for Compound) SCORES Archers may submit as many scores as they wish during this period, subject to the following: Each Round must be shot at a programmed Club event at which at least four archers complete the round Archers will be responsible for submitting scores via The Archer’s Diary. FINAL RANKING Will be based upon the Indoor Ranking on The Archer’s Diary. TEAM SELECTION For each team, the highest four ranked archers, who have fulfilled the above requirements and who have entered the National Indoor Championships will qualify. Should an archer decline to be part of a team, the next ranked archer will be invited onto the relevant team and so on, until the team is filled. TEAM FUNDING No team funding is applicable for the National Indoor Championships.
