ARCHERY SA is calling for Expressions of Interest from archers and coaches who wish to be participants in the ARCHERY South Australia Development Program (ARCSADP) or the Archery Australia Regional Development Program (AARDP).

The ARCSADP is aimed at a broad range of ability levels and and provides an opportunity for both coaches and archers to improve their skills. The ARCSADP corresponds to steps 7 and 8 in the ARCHERY SA 10 Step Development Pathway.

The ARCHERY SA Development Program is distinct from the Archery Australia Regional Development Program (AARDP), but the two programs are complementary, and will run concurrently. Acceptance into the AARDP is subject to meeting performance levels and meeting training requirements stipulated by Archery Australia. Archers can indicate their interest in participating in the elite (RDP) pathway in the online form. The AARDP corresponds to step 9 in the ARCHERY SA 10 Step Development Pathway.

Commitment:

ARCSADP

Participants are expected to commit to attending most scheduled development days. This is so the program doesn’t have to start afresh each time. Numbers may be limited.

AARDP

In addition, AARDP participants are expected to commit to 15 hours per week of training.
