The Oceania Challenge (1 Aug – 30 Sep) is an online tournament for archers of Oceania Member Associations.

The competition can be shot on individual Club grounds; there is no need to organise a State or National event.

Each host Club may choose any suitable date(s) during the months of August & September.

Participants may compete more than once, but only one result per person may be submitted (no multiple entries with different bow types or in different age groups).

Classes and Divisions will be:

  • Under 15s (born in 2009 or later): male/female – Recurve, Compound, Barebow
  • Under 18s (born in 2006 or later): male/female – Recurve, Compound, Barebow
  • Under 21s (born in 2004, 2005, 2006): male/female – Recurve, Compound, Barebow
  • Open (born in 2003 to 1973): male/female – Recurve, Compound, Barebow
  • 50+ (born in 1974 or earlier): male/female – Recurve, Compound, Barebow

Rounds:

  • Short Round/Junior Canberra (for people shooting Recurve, Compound or Barebow who have been in archery for 12 months or less, or have never shot further than 40m – 40m, 30m & 20m at a 122cm target face)
  • Barebow Round/Short Canberra (for anyone shooting Barebow – 50m, 40m & 30m at a 122cm target face)
  • Long Round/Canberra (for everybody else shooting sighted Recurve and Compound – 60m, 50m & 40m at a 122cm target face)

Scores can be recorded electronically or on paper, and Clubs need to collate and submit the scores to the ARCHERY SA Recorder by Monday, 10 October. Given the differences in Age Classes to those used in Australia, your year of birth will need to be included with your submitted score.
