2022 State Team Selection & Results

National Target Championships (Brisbane):

Team Selection, as endorsed during the August ARCHERY SA meeting

Selection for the team historically was determined using the selections rules published in the ARCHERY SA Policy. Because of changes to the event format, the policy has been set aside for 2022.

In essence the process is now based purely on target scores using the ratings shown in the National rankings.

Day 1 (29 Sep): The South Australian contingent at the 2022 Australian National Championships. South Australians won 18 medals on the first day of competition in the 900 rounds. Congratulations to our medal winners: Shirley Biggs, Ryan Bird, Keeley Cain, Pat Coghlan, Annabelle Conboy, Ian Dall, Christine Favre, Jean-Michel Favre, Georgina Graham, Brandon Hawes, Bill Holmes, Casey Isles, Michael Lange, Rhiannon Mills, Greg Opie, Marianne Rieckmann, Joshua Turner and Anna Twining.

Day 2 (30 Sep): 1440 rounds of the 2022 Australian National Championships, and SA came away with another 19 medals. Congratulations to our medalists Shirley Biggs, Ryan Bird, Keeley Cain, Pat Coghlan, Annabelle Conboy, Ian Dall, Christine Favre, Jean-Michel Favre, Georgina Graham, Brandon Hawes, Bill Holmes, Casey Isles, Michael Lange, Rhiannon Mills, Greg Opie, Marianne Rieckmann, Adam Simms, Joshua Turner and Anna Twining.

Day 3 (1 Oct): wraps up the RGB (State Team) competition. It was a great result with SA winning the Compound RGB Team competition. Well done to Ryan Bird, Brandon Hawes, Michael Lange, Rhiannon Mills, Josh Turner and Anna Twining.

Also an honourable mention for the Recurve Team of Casey Isles, Greg Opie, Chris de Mello, Ian Dall, Keeley Cain and Chris Favre, which came a close 2nd, just 8 points behind NSW.
