COVID-19 Update: restrictions further eased

From 23 November (until further notice)

The Government advises the following:

Borders

  • Open borders to fully vaccinated people from all Australian states and territories (Quarantine will apply to LGAs with community transmission and less than 80% of the population fully vaccinated)
  • Vaccinated international arrivals require 7 days quarantine
  • Unvaccinated authorised arrivals require 14 days quarantine

Activities

Restrictions remain in place:

  • Masks in indoor public settings
  • Current density and activity requirements (Clubs, please note)
  • 30 people at home gatherings
  • Private activity cap of 150 people

Controlled COVID into our community

  • Hospitals and health services prepared for increase in COVID cases
  • Support for people with COVID-19 to recover safely at home
  • Increasing access to COVID-19 vaccines

From 5 August (until further notice):

Restrictions have been eased.

Club competition & coaching is permitted.

1.5 m distancing applies and 1 per 2 sq m.

Indoor archery venues have additional restrictions, including 1 per 4 sq m and the wearing of masks, except when shooting.

At all other venues, masks must be worn indoors, and by spectators outdoors.

Food and drink to be consumed while seated.

From 28 July:

Archery practice can resume – no competition or coaching

1.5 m distancing applies and 1 per 4 sq m.

Indoor archery venues remain closed.

At other venues masks must be worn indoors, and by spectators outdoors.

From 6.00 pm, Tuesday, 20 July

Additional restrictions apply: a 7-day Stay at Home order applies.

  • All archery activity is cancelled, until at least 27 July
  • All Clubs are closed.

Level 5 restrictions include:

  • Closure of community activities
  • Masks for public places
